| Description | West Midlands Police examined the Racal tape (POL/2/1) and secured recordings onto audio cassettes. Each of the 27 Channels were recorded with each channel consisting of 36 tapes.
The cassettes were given a reference number by West Midlands Police i.e. KWP30/1/1-36. The prefix reference number KWP30 is the initials of the person who made the copy, followed by the channel number which was followed by the tape number or time segment.
Not all channels have been digitised due to issues of quality and relevance. |
