| Description | The West Midlands Police Major Incident Room was the heart of the West Midlands Police investigations. It took messages relating to the investigations, typed up any documents which were received, including statements and questionnaires, indexed them and produced actions out of these messages, documents, statements, etc.
The actions and messages are in three formats:
Green (original typed/handwritten version),
Yellow (carbon copy of the green)
White (typed on HOLMES and indexed).
This series contains the white copies of actions; green and yellow copy messages (both indexed and unindexed), as well as registers of exhibits, documents and property received into the Incident Room.
