| Description | The Sheffield Diocesan Moral Welfare Council existed for the purpose of federating the various agencies for moral welfare work throughout the Diocese. Sub-Committees of the Council included the Sheffield Deanery Committee, St Agatha’s Hostel Committee, Babies Home Committee and the Collectors Committee. The Council was responsible for administering the Sheffield Diocesan Babies Home and St Agatha’s Hostel for Mothers and Babies (amongst other duties). |
