AdminHistoryThe parish of Sheffield, St Cuthbert, Firvale was formed out of the parishes of Christchurch, Pitsmoor; St Thomas, Brightside and St Mary, Ecclesfield. The church, situated on the corner of Barnsley Road and Owler Lane, opened in 1901 and was consecrated on 24 July 1902.

The parish is in the Ecclesfield Deanery.
