AdminHistory	Herringthorpe was designated a conventional district in the parish of Whiston in 1936, and subsequently (1950) became a district, and then a separate parish in 1958. The present church, consecrated on 6th December 1958, on the corner of Chaucer Road and Herringthorpe Valley Road, replaced an older building situated on Browning Road.
