TitleSheffield, St Mary, Walkley, Anglican Parish
AdminHistoryThe parish of Walkley was formed in 1870 out of St Philip's (Infirmary Road, Sheffield), and was preceded by a mission church built in 1861. This was later extended to form the present church which was designed by J. G. Weightman and consecrated in August 1869. The burial ground, off Bole Hill Road, was consecrated in May 1880. A chapel of ease, St. Saviour's Church in Whitehouse Road, was consecrated in March 1913, but closed in 1935 (and was later demolished).

St Mary's Church, Walkley, is situated on South Road and is in the Deanery of Hallam.
