DescriptionTo younger children, Edward, James, Richard, George and Anne Hill, his messuages and hereditaments within the territory of Sheffield, to be used for their benefit for 26 years from the day of testator’s death.

Margaret Hill, his wife, to have Grimesthorpe property during the minority of son and heir, John, and use it to pay debts and educate the children, but charged with an annuity of £1 6s 8d.

For Agnes Hill, testator’s mother. Also to wife and younger children, the interest in a term of years on a close called Brunt Carre.

A bed and window glass to eldest son John.

Chattels to be divided in three portions between wife Margaret, the younger children and for stated gifts to the poor.

Looms to the three elder sons.
