Descriptiona) Articles of agreement for the construction of Wadsley Bridge. William Machon and Samuel Loxley, churchwardens of Ecclesfield parish, Yorkshire, to Joseph Loxley of Doeroyd, Ecclesfield, carpenter and John Milns of Worrall, Bradfield, Ecclesfield, carpenter. To construct a wooden bridge over the River Don where the previous bridge was destroyed by a flood for £112. 2 shillings, stated conditions of construction, 17 Jun 1763.
