Title | William Wilberforce to Samuel Roberts, written from London (own hand) |
Description | Thanks him for his solicitude and is pretty well again. Is very busy with “the great object”. Asks for information on the state of things in Sheffield and what Samuel Roberts thinks of the apprentice laws in Sheffield. If the convention for a general abolition takes place it would be a splendid subject for a poem for Mr Montgomery.
