Band 8. Co-operatives. Cllr Neill comments on proposed Council trip to look at co-operatives in Spain.

Band 9. Post Office. Gets first electronic mail service. President of Sheffield Chamber of Commerce comments on usefulness and price.

Band 10. Industrial Development. Sheffield refused Enterprise Zone status. Comments from David Heslop Cllr, blames Labour for speaking against it earlier. Douglas Iveson, disappointed. Alan Billings Cllr, mixed feelings. Would have been disadvantages as well as advantages.

Band 11. Ardsley. Interviews with residents picketting sex shop.

Band 12. Japanese Motor Industry. Harold Walker M.P. comments on whether Doncaster would be a site for a Nissan factory. Would have to be in a development area eg Mexborough and Rotherham.

Band 13. Minority ethnic groups. Voluntary Teaching of English. Need to teach basic English. Organiser explains the problem.
