1) His award as colomist of the year.
2) His views on BBC. Thinks it should have limited advertising and a lower licence fee.
3) His views on the miners' strike. The Government has defeated miners but at enormous cost.
4) Dismisses sinking of HMS Belgrano. Says people are bored by it but believes it was a dirty trick and that Ministers misled Parliament for no real reason.
5) Does not believe there will be tax cuts in budget.
6) Thinks 1985 will be a poor year for Labour Party. It is a new, young Party.

Band 2. Martin Rednond M.P. Interviewed on Tony and Rony Show. Points raised include,
1) Talks about job of M.P.s. Long hours etc.
2) Opposed to pairing of M.P.s. Little fraternization between parties.
3) His views on miners' strike. Blames Government for strike and believes history will vindicate NUM. Attacks media for distorted coverage.
4) His views on corporal punishment in schools. He used to be in favour but is now opposed.

Band 3. Housing. Interview with a solicitor on the clauses in contracts for sale on council houses which makes services chargable to buyers. Outlines position and advises people to consult a solicitor.
