| Description | The terms of reference for the Best Value Board were adopted in September 1999, with a minor amendment in July 2000. Draft revised terms of reference were included with the papers for the meeting held on 1 Nov 2002.
In July 2004, the name of the Best Value Board was changed to the Service Improvement Board and the board was given a more wide-ranging remit (with ensuring 'best value' only one part of its functions). The newly- named board was to have strong links with the Performance Committee to which it would report and also from which it would receive requests and directions. |
