| Description | Terms of reference - to oversee the Force’s delivery of protective services and co-ordinate a South Yorkshire response to regional collaborative working. The Committee exercised all of its functions in respect of: overseeing the production of, and monitoring progress against, an improvement plan to close the protective services gap within South Yorkshire. The Committee helped to develop and measure performance for the eight 'protective services' which were as follows:
Counter Terrorism
Serious and organized crime
Civil contingencies & emergency planning
Critical incident management
Major crime
Public order
Strategic roads policing
Protecting vulnerable people. |
