DescriptionLewis Wescombe of Rockley, esquire, and Catherine, his wife, to William Spencer of Thurnscoe, doctor in divinity.

That they will levy a fine on the manors of Rockley and Worsbrough with all appurtenances, lands, mills, furnaces, etc. in Rockley, Worsbrough, Worsbroughdale, Stainbrough, Birdwell, Silkston, Tankersley, and Darfeild.

The uses are to be that the property is to be to the use of Dr. Spencer, unless the mortgage is repaid.

The deed recites that Lewis and Catherine Wescombe owe Dr. Spencer £600 secured by a judgement and a bond, but that additional security is required.
