For a loan of £600; the brothers having been required by the will of their father John Wilkinson to sell these lands to pay his debts and legacies, but Richard being desirous to keep them has agreed to pay them himself and has asked Mrs. Elmsall for help in doing so.
With an assignment of a mortgage term from John Wilkinson to Douglas Carr of Birkhouse (Yorkshire) widow, of part of the premises, to Edward Elmsall of Thornhill in trust for Sarah Elmsall. 13 August, 1751. |
