Mr Sturgeon, a British subject, expended very large sums of money, amounting in the whole to upwards of £26,000, upon the erection and stocking of a very extensive manufactory for the fabrication of porcelain and delf at Rouen, in Normandy. Mr. Sturgeon was undeniably a British subject, and in 1793 his property was confiscated by the Revolutionary Government
