TitleLetter from Rockingham, Grosvenor Square [London], to Sir John Wentworth
DescriptionComments on Sir John's recent marriage. Lady Rockingham has been ill for 3 months (severe jaundice and pain). Comments on the racing mare and the bear which Sir John has sent him - the bear is at Wentworth is very furious and has grown above a hand higher than when she arrived - could do with a companion, but probably difficult to get a male. Remarks on presents sent to Lady Rockingham. Feels there has been a pause in the violent attitudes in England towards America and less passion in America itself.
