Parcels of land, measuring 6 acres 3 roods 38 perches in the manor of Tinsley, parish of Rotherham, called the Clay Field, 6 fields called the Friezland closes, the Rape Close, 3 closes called the Common pieces, 2 closes called the Common Closes (Low Close and Inn Close) a close situated below the Old Wharf at Tinsley and called Sough Bottom close, and the Wooddy Bank adjoining.

All parties agree to sell these lands to the proprietors of the Sheffield Canal Company for £670.
