Description10 Nov 1961 - F. Mulley, M.P., attends meeting to discuss the 'German Question'. Branch expresses concern at the Labour Party's support of rearmament, contrary to the Potsdam agreement.

2 Mar 1962 - calls for the Government to deal with Sheffield's gale damage as a national disaster, and to supply troops to "assist the inadequate labour force to complete the necessary repairs to houses..."

17 Aug 1962 - Branch "emphatically against this country entering the Common Market", which would mean "this country would lose its sovereignty on economical [sic] and political questions dealing with trade".

- agreed to send message to Mr. Krushev congratulating the USSR [Union of Soviet Socialist Republics] and its spacemen on their recent "wonderful space achievement".
