| Description | The Former Students Guild was established in 1954. The aims were to maintain contacts with former students by the holding of meetings, encouraging the formation of branches, creating of benevolent funds and to form a link between former students and the College. The Guild produced the Former Students Guild bulletin (SWTC 7/7, SCT 5/5) and continued to be active until the merger with Heriot-Watt University in 1998 when their role was taken over by Development and Alumni. |
