| Description | Woven by Robert MacDonald Scott to celebrate the life of Alan McCrone who drowned in an accident at Foss on Loch Tummel in 1957. The tapestry includes gulls in flight which Alan had often photographed. Ogham script around the border reads Alan Osbourne McCrone Foss. the tapestry was completed in 1962 and then donated to the Scottish Woollen Technical College where Alan had studied. |
