These include his journal entries and a variety of correspondence including letters from Sir Andrew Scott Waugh, Director-General of the British Ordinance Survey of India, to Archibald Campbell, British Political Agent to Sikkim, who negotiated J.D. Hooker’s admission to the area. Also included are pages of scientific geographical data, sketches & maps, extracts of Campbell’s journal, lists of plants despatched to Kew and expenses accounts.
