Includes letter from [Lillias] Hamilton, Warden of Studley Horticultural College, to Prain, 6 Jun 1914, and letter from Middleton to Prain, 20 May 1916, regarding inviting Sir Sydney Olivier to join the [Advisory] Committee to consider future work on soil surveys. The majority of material dates between 1912-1914.
