| Description | The 12th Commonwealth Games were held in Brisbane, Australia from 30 September to 9 October 1982. Scotland sent a team of 101 athletes and won a total of 26 medals including 8 golds. Allan Wells became the only Scottish athlete to complete the sprint double, winning gold in 100m and 200m. |
