| Description | The 13th Commonwealth Games were held in Edinburgh from 24 July to 2 August 1986. Edinburgh became the first city to host the Games twice. Scotland sent a team of 193 athletes and won a total of 33 medals including 3 golds. 32 Commonwealth nations boycotted the Games as a protest against the apartheid regieme in South Africa. |
