Description | The 6th British Empire and Commonwealth Games were held in Cardiff, Wales, from 18 to 26 July 1958. Scotland sent a team of 123 athletes and won a total of 13 medals including 5 golds. Sir Peter Heatly won a gold in Diving becoming the only Scottish athlete to win gold medals in three separate Games (1950, 1954 and 1958).
