TitleThe White Bus
DescriptionBased on a short story by Shelagh Delaney, The White Bus is a short film that follows an office worker (Patricia Healey) on a trip from London to a northern town in a series of strange, surreal, disturbing scenes. The film was originally supposed to be part of a trilogy of films called Red, White and Zero, the other parts being directed by Tony Richardson and Peter Brook. The trilogy was never released and The White Bus was not shown publicly in Britain until 1969 when it had a short run in a London art-house cinema. It has rarely been screened since. Material relating to the film includes scripts, correspondence on the failed Red, White and Zero project, photographs of the production and scenes from the film, press cuttings from European press
