Description | In 1966 Lindsay Anderson went to Warsaw, Poland, to direct a stage production of John Osborne's Inadmissible Evidence (see LA 3/14). While in Warsaw he was invited by the Warsaw Documentary Studio to direct a short film about the city. He returned in April 1967 to shoot the film which featured a class of students of the Warsaw Dramatic Academy performing Polish songs inter-cut with scenes of Warsaw life. Material relating to the film includes a draft outline of the film, correspondence, photographs of cast and crew, scenes from the film and Warsaw, sound-track of film (on reel-to-reel tape) |
