| Description | In 1988 Anderson was invited by Home Box Office, an American cable television company, to direct Glory! Glory!, a two-part satirical comedy set in the world of American television evangelism. Originally called Sister Ruth, Glory! Glory! was written by Stan Daniels (writer of American TV comedy shows Mary Tyler Moore, Taxi and Rhoda ) and starred Ellen Greene, Richard Thomas and James Whitmore. The mini-series was shot in the summer of 1988 in Toronto, Canada where Anderson was reunited with Mike Fash, his cameraman on Britannia Hospital and The Whales of August. Glory! Glory! premiered on HBO in the US in February 1989 and was shown in Britain on BBC 2 on the 4th and 11th August 1990.
